Dating a guy that still lives with his ex-wife can pose a series of unanswered questions and problems, no matter how much you love each other. I have this friend that recently reconnected with a guy from her past. They were really never in a real relationship as each of them were taken at the time; but they were at one point friends with benefits that just ended up staying really good friends throughout the years. My friend trusts him completely. She says she knows that relationship has been over for a very long time.

It didn’t help that she told me he frequently asked her if she thought they would ever get back together. It felt totally uncomfortable and I bailed after a couple of dates.

I didn’t know until the second date. She introduced him as her room mate at first and then dropped the bomb on the second date, thats when I bailed. MY first thought would be I would certainly question as to WHY they are still living with them!! It kinda tells me they dont know what they really WANT! I’ve asked this before but why can’t people finish one relationship before involving other people? If a person is still living with a former partner, then who the f ck told them they should be dating ?
