Meeting with Mormon Missionaries

Faithful LDS that are aware of the undeniable similarities between the LDS Temple Ceremony and the Masonry Rituals usually reconcile that issue by echoing what the early prophets have said. Essentially the stance is that the Masons originally had the true temple ordinances from the original true church that existed in Old Testament times. These rituals are believed to have been practiced by the members of God’s true church in Solomon’s Temple.

Women’s clothing. Dresses: Women’s basic dresses were floor length. It could be plain or have many ruffles. The sleeves were full, and long, with buttons or bands at the writs. Necklines were usually high, with buttons up the front.

Scott Greg, While I admire your passion, I personally have come to the exact opposite conclusion on almost every point you made. I grew up LDS, served a mission, sealed in the temple. More than 30 times. In fact, a lot of LDS scholars have too. And they all agree that most of your points are wrong. None of your evidences can stand up to inquiry. And, to use your own logic path, if the Book of Mormon is NOT true, then the rest of it fails as well. I understand the feelings of a testimony.

They feel pure to devout Muslims too. Just because you believe it is true, does not make it true.
